# Brand MCP

> Connect your agent to Brand MCP, sign in to Lamina and create your first product images.

Create catalogue photos, banners, try-on media and ad videos from your product
inputs. Your agent can use files or its existing Shopify connection; no Shopify
reconnection to Lamina is needed.

## Setup

Add this remote MCP URL in your agent's connector settings:
`https://app.uselamina.ai/mcp/commerce`.

Or install from your project directory:

```bash theme={null}
npx add-mcp https://app.uselamina.ai/mcp/commerce --name lamina-brand
```

1. Select your agent and reload its MCP connections.
2. Authorize **lamina-brand** in the agent, sign in to Lamina, and select the workspace
   that should pay for generations.
3. Have the agent call `commerce_describe` and `commerce_credits` to verify access.

Brand MCP is a separate connection from the main Lamina MCP. A website login alone
is not MCP authorization; your workspace must have Brand access. Already connected?
Keep the existing connection—the endpoint and tool names have not changed.

## Try it

Attach your product photos and provide the product name, then ask:

> Create listing images for this product using Brand MCP. Choose a preset person
> for me. Images only, no video. Show me the reference, selected outputs and credit
> estimate before generating.

The agent discovers the app and its inputs through MCP, asks for any missing details
together, and prepares a plan. After your approval, it generates and retrieves the
results. Required upstream steps are handled automatically.

## More details

See the [Brand MCP reference](/guides/commerce-mcp-reference) for app inputs and outputs,
file uploads, client configuration and troubleshooting. Agents can read the live
`commerce://guide` resource and `commerce_describe` instead; installing a separate
skill is optional. For shared sign-in details, see [MCP OAuth setup](/guides/mcp-oauth-install).
